Three Years With AdonisDrama/Romance/Thriller - Screenplay/Fiction - 115 PagesOrder from AmazonHow can anything that felt so right be so completely and utterly wrong? Zoë asks herself this exact question as she stands before the judge — and the world — when Jake has falsely accused her of domestic violence. Three years ago, when Zoë met the dashing, intelligent, and fanciful Jake, she had no idea of his dark agenda. She fell hopelessly, completely, and foolishly in love with him. Too soon she would find out what he wanted with her, and it had little to do with romance. Jake learned the art of grifting from his two elder sisters who’d made a nice, comfortable, life out of selecting, marrying, and then divorcing rich and powerful men. He sought out women who had powerful jobs, owned their own homes, and had large bank accounts, then swindled them for all they had — leaving them powerless, lovesick, and co-dependent. He had amassed a large fortune doing so and felt absolutely no remorse. By the time the story ends, Zoë loses everything, including her self-esteem. It’s about a fight for one’s self, for the right and the ability to love yourself when nobody else does, and finally, to move on with your life anew. Read Reviews Here! |

The Banyan TreeComedy - NOvel/Fiction/Screenplay/MOWThank goodness all timeshare operations aren’t like this one! This zany tale stars a kooky staff of OPCs (off-premise canvassers), sales people, and timeshare development staff who pull every trick in the book to seal the deal and make it stick. From the moment they check in with the very beguiling-but oh-so-dumb Liksa, these poor folks have no idea what a ride they are really in for."The Banyan Tree" was one of the first resorts to open in Key West, and only after they had been selling and actively marketing for several years did the state of Florida require their sales staff to be licensed. The managers hired one of Florida’s finest real estate schools to help their staff pass the course and state licensing exams, which took time, patience, and much sobering up. After a week of intense training and testing, most passed; some never did, and became OPCs. The back office was full of bad attitude, frequently communicating their disgust at the worst possible times ... the sales staff secretly drank mimosas and snorted coke before client tours. Management was no better. It was a wonder anything got done to any degree of competency, but somehow they were a success. Either as a book or movie, it will make you chuckle, snort and snicker throughout! |
